69 GREYHOUND HILL NW4

This property was a previous doctor surgery practice for more than two decades. We were approached to convert into a House in Multiple Occupation ( HMO ) for 5 people. The loss of a residential unit was well established and it wasn’t easy to support a new residential unit in this building. After some researches, we proved that there was a demand for smaller units in this area, we took in consideration the fact that a ramp at the front of the property was already built so in the ground floor we proposed a bedroom accessible to disabilities, wheelchair friendly, with direct access to the rear garden, the ground floor has three bedrooms and a communal kitchen, the first floor has two bedrooms and a communal kitchen, all the bedrooms were built to support people with blindness and hearing.

We secured a massive planning permission in the Borough of Merton, the extensions added 107m2 to the existing property. A Single Storey Rear Extension, Two Storey Side Extension and Roof Extension with associate Hip to Gable and Full Dormer extended over the side extension. Impressive roof extension, a dormer that extends to the newly side extension was only possible with a dose of audacity and some research of the area, as it’s unusual to achieve this design in many councils around London.
